The nursery is looking great and is filled with beautiful plants. Come down and find some beauty to take home to your own garden, patio or balcony.

Artemisia 'Ever Goldy' - Golden Silver Mound - A great colour variation on the popular Artemisia, this forms a low cushion of soft, ferny, aromatic golden leaves. In areas with humid summers, it benefits from a hard clipping just as the tiny ball-like flowers appear, usually in mid to late June. Plants will regrow quickly and remain attractive all season long. Rubus BrazelBerry 'Raspberry Shortcake' - Raspberry - One of the hottest edible plants, Brazelberries are dwarf fruit bushes that can be grown in containers or in the garden. 'Raspberry Shortcake' is a compact, dwarf, thornless raspberry with beautiful foliage and great tasting fruit. Plant it in containers on your patio or balcony, in your garden or make a hedge of it. Grows to 2-3 feet high.
Heuchera 'Bella Notte' - Coral Bells - A large flowering dark leaf heuchera. 'Bella Notte' has very dark leaves with a light silvery shadow. Lovely bicolour rose pink and light pink flowers. An elegant plant. Heat tolerant. Heuchera 'Black Taffeta' - Coral Bells - Silky, black foliage with great ruffles! These large, dark, dramatic leaves will add lust and intrigue to containers or borders. Can you handle the excitement?
Heuchera 'Delta Dawn' - Coral Bells - 'Delta Dawn' has magnificent, large, round leaves with red centers in the spring and fall; in summer its red veins run like rivers to the sea against a gorgeous gold to lime main leaf colour highlights the venation. Strong, vigorous habit. Perfect for a shade container or to add color to a dark area. Delivers the "look" that Heuchera 'Miracle' promised. Heuchera 'Fire Alarm' - Coral Bells - 'Delta Dawn' has magnificent, large, round leaves with red centers in the spring and fall; in summer its red veins run like rivers to the sea against a gorgeous gold to lime main leaf colour highlights the venation. Strong, vigorous habit. Perfect for a shade container or to add color to a dark area. Delivers the "look" that Heuchera 'Miracle' promised.
Melianthus major - Peanut Butter Plant - This intriguing plant has beautiful rippled and dissected pinnate, powdery blue foliage on stems between three and six feet. It is shy to flower in our climate though I have seen the intriguing red spikes on a few occasions in Vancouver and Victoria. The most interesting aspect of this plant is the fragrance of the foliage which is very close to that of peanut butter. Plant with chocolate cosmos, Cosmos atrosanguineus, to turn your border into a peanut butter cup! Plectranthus 'Velvet Elvis' - Spurflower - ‘Velvet Elvis’ has large inflorescences of large lavender blue flowers with very dark green leaves and purple stems with a compact upright habit. It's not hardy, but who cares? This plant is a fabulous addition to containers.
Antirrhinum majus 'Snap Daddy Pink - Perennial Snapdragon - Go retro chic with this variegated snapdragon! This hardy cultivar can handle zone 7. The pink blooms are held in fat spikes above green and white, variegated foliage. The plants are bushy and compact and happy to flower over a long period from summer until frost! Veronicastrum virginicum 'Lavender Towers' - Culver's Root - A lovely, tall, back of the border, late-flowering clumper that loves moist feet and good sun. The flowers look like lavender candelabras in the garden. Plants bulk up with time offering large clumps of lavender spires and attractive foliage whorled at regular intervals along the stems. A native from Manitoba east and south to Florida.
Heucherella 'Solar Eclipse' - Foamy Bells - Leaves of red brown bordered in lime green combined with such a beautiful habit and broadly scalloped leaf edges. There is nothing else like it in the world of Heucherella or Heucher for that matter. Forming a vigorous mound of dense crowns, 'Solar Eclipse' has it all! Heucherella 'Glacier Falls' - Foamy Bells -'Glacier Falls' features soft, fuzzy, blue green leaves and dark red veins that will trail 18 inches in all directions. A superb groundcover and stunning "spiller" in a container, this calm, cool and collected Heucherella is more subtle than some of its bolder compatriates with a frosted, cool appearance. A member of the Falls Series which includes 'Redstone Falls', 'Yellowstone Falls', 'Glacier Falls' and 'Sunrise Falls'.
Aconitum carmichaelii 'Arendsii' - Monkshood - A very popular stocky monkshood with large purple-blue hooded flowers. The leaves are thick and leathery with a glossy surface and are broadly dissected into tri-lobed sections. Full sun to part shade. A great vertical accent for sun to part shade. All parts of the plant are poisonous so don’t use it in salads. Aconitum napellus 'Album' - Monkshood - The white monkshood is a herbaceous perennial with a rigidly upright and towering form. It's attractive, deeply cut, ferny leaves remain dark green in colour throughout the season contrasting with the bold spikes of white, hooded flowers rising above the foliage. Monkshoods are great from sun to part shade and offer a great way to get vertical spikes into shadier positions.
Hosta 'Flemish Sky' - Plantain Lily - 'Flemish Sky' is one of the bluest hostas available with powder blue foliage that is broad, lightly rippled and cupped and tapers to pointed tips. Pale lavender flowers in late summer. Good vigour and substance. Daphne x transatlantica 'Eternal Fragrance' - Daphne - This hybrid forms a neat, mounded, evergreen shrub two to three feet high and three feet wide. The dark green leaves make a pleasing backdrop for the pink buds and white flowers which are intensely fragrant like sweet baby powder. ‘Eternal Fragrance’ flowers generously on the previous season’s wood in April and May and from June until autumn on new growth provided good moisture and nutrients. Rich, well-drained soil in sun. Do not move after planting. Photo courtesy of Great Plant Picks.
