Hello Shady Characters!

There are some very special shade plants at the nursery, many of which are currently in bloom. They are the hardy Hosta orchids, Asian terrestrial orchids with beautiful pleated foliage and spikes of colourful, often fragrant flowers. They love a part shade or morning sun situation with classic woodland soil that is well-drained but evenly moist. Of particular note are the new colour selections that combine great colour strains with fragrance. Every plant is different in flower as well as fragrance! They are in bloom now. Come down to see them and smell them!

Cheers, Gary and the Phoenicians
