Hello Shady Characters!

It's lady's slipper season at Phoenix with lots of our plants coming into bloom right now. Come down and see them and maybe take one of these treasures home with you!

Have a look and enjoy!

Cheers, Gary and the Phoenicians

PS. And for something totally different, our Beesia deltophylla have just come in. This species is hands down one of the best and most popular shade plants at Phoenix and exquisite in the garden with its evergreen foliage and cute white flowers.

Hardy Lady's Slipper Orchids

These hybrid Cypripedium are crosses between Asian and North American species and possess hybrid vigour -- they have inherited the best traits of both parents -- and are much easier to grow than species orchids, have big flowers in amazing colours, and clump up very quickly into amazing displays in the part shade garden. They bloom in late April and May offering an exquisite show in the garden. This year they're blooming a little bit early. Here are the varieties we are offering this year. Many are coming into bloom now.
