Allium 'Millenium'
Common Name: Ornamental Onion Family: Alliaceae (The Onion Family)

Notes:
Allium 'Millenium' forms clumps of slender, flattened, linear, glossy green leaves in the spring followed in summer by showy two inch spherical umbels of glowing rose-purple florets. Ornamental onions provide a flower display unlike most other perennials and are thus useful for contrasting flower shapes in the garden.
