Lavandula angustifolia 'Hidcote'
Common Name: Lavender Family: Lamiaceae (The Mint Family)

Lavandula angustifolia 'Hidcote'
Zoom In Photo:

Notes:
This cultivar has the richest purple flowers of all lavenders which are borne from lovely silvery-grey foliage. Very fragrant flowers and foliage on compact plants. Easy to care for and enjoy. The Victorians always planted them right on a path so their skirts would brush the foliage and release the fragrance! Shear lavenders lightly in early spring just as they begin growth and again after flowering to keep tidy.
