Much sought after at the nursery in our yellow border, this tall late bloomer sports three inch lovely pale yellow flowers with warmer yellow centres. Exactly what you need at the back of the border towards the end of summer. A selection of a naturally occuring hybrid of H. pauciflorus var. subrhomboideus x Helianthus tuberosus.

North America
Native Habitat:
Rich and damp thickets (H. tuberosus parent). Mesic to dry black soil prairies, gravel prairies, sand prairies, hill prairies, limestone glades, and areas along railroads (H. pauciflorus parent) .
