Notes:
The lovely mid-purple-blue flowers are very fragrant and are held over nice bluish green foliage. Shear lavenders lightly in early spring just as they begin growth and again after flowering to keep tidy. Photo courtesy of Walters Gardens.

Dry grassy slopes amongst rocks, in exposed, usually parched, hot rocky situations often on calcareous soils.
