Notes:
Each spring the vigorous erect stems emerge from the dark soil like firey tongues warming the hearts of winter-chilled gardeners everywhere. Soon after the flame-orange flowers begin to form. As a mature plant 'Fireglow' grows to about three feet tall with red stems and blue-green foliage that turns crimson red in autumn. Wonderful in containers. Clumps get progressively larger with time and can spread into other perennials so keep your eyes on it.
