One of the best whites -- large lustrous flowers accented with fuzzy yellow beards in early summer and again in late summer/fall. Fragrant. Divide every two to three years just after blooming. Trim the foliage back to a third and plant the rhizomes at or just below soil level.
Dry rocky places.
