This crinum, native to the eastern Cape of South Africa, makes a large clump of wide glossy green foliage. In early summer the clumps are topped with two foot tall spikes of fragrant white goblet-shaped flowers with blackish contrasting filaments and pollen. C. moorei can be grown in sun or light shade.

Southern Africa and Madagascar
Native Habitat:
Damp, marshy areas and forest margins in light shade.
