'Sherbet Cocktail' offers a fascinating melange of colours in each flower including yellow, a first in the world of garden phloxes. The yellow-green buds emerge out of chocolate-maroon bracts, opening into green-yellow-edged flowers with soft pink or white centres. The flowers have a slightly waxy texture resembling a head of hydrangea flowers. Good mildew resistance.
Open woods, scrub, sides of streams and on hillsides, often on limestone.
