Gaillardia aristata 'Arizona Sun'
Common Name: Blanket Flower Family: Asteraceae (The Aster Family)

Gaillardia aristata 'Arizona Sun'
Zoom In Photo:

Whereas most blanket flowers have orangey-red petals, the petals of 'Arizona Sun' are red-red, bold and well-saturated with colour and with bright yellow tips. This is also a compact cultivar growing to only 10 inches and with nice grayish-green foliage! Oh, and did I mention it will bloom from June to September?! We tried 'Arizona Sun' at the nursery for the first time in 2006 and we were impressed by its compact size, vigour and flower power.
