A vigorous and robust holly-leaved olearia with large masses of fragrant white daisy-like flowers. Yes. It looks like a holly bush but it has daisy flowers! Grows as a tree-like shrub. The leaves are sharply toothed, grey green above and silvery white beneath. Flowers appear in early summer. Full sun

Lowland to sub-alpine forests up to 1300m, southwards from latitude 37 30' on North and South Islands of New Zealand.
