Common Name: Hybrid Lady's Slipper Family: Orchidaceae (The Orchid Family)

Cypripedium 'Sabine Pastel'
Zoom In Photo:

Notes:
'Sabine Pastel' is a rare white flowered form of 'Sabine'. It offers huge flowers with lips the size of a chicken egg! The lip is ivory white and the tepals are pale yellow. The plant itself grows to a maximum of 50 cm (20 inches). Strong stems and long lasting flowers that bloom for three weeks complete the list of attributes for a great garden display. A cross of two Chinese species: C. fasciolatum and C. macranthos. Seed grown. Plants will resemble the image but may not be identical. Lady's slipper hybrids are much more vigorous and easy to grow than species. Blooming size.
