Cypripedium 'Victoria'
Common Name: Hybrid Lady's Slipper Family: Orchidaceae (The Orchid Family)

Cypripedium 'Victoria'
Zoom In Photo:

Notes:
'Victoria' has huge flowers with a yellow lip and twisted, yellow tepals striped with burgundy. The lip alone is almost the size of a chicken egg! The imposing plant with its broad leaves grows to 60 cm (23 in.) high -- a real eye-catcher in the shaded garden! Blooms in the second half of May. Grown from seed. Plants will resemble the image but may not be identical. A cross of the North American C. parviflorum var. pubescens and the Asian C. fasciolatum. Lady's slipper hybrids are much more vigorous and easy to grow than species. Blooming size.
