The frilly, bright green leaves of parsley are used in cooking and as a garnish. It is also an ornamental foliage plant that looks great in gardens and containers. It is a biennial. Foliage is said to taste better in the first year than in the second year when it blooms. I have had clumps that persisted for many years and provided lots of tasty foliage. Use fresh or dried. Each year we carry traditional parsley, flat Italian parsley and others.
