'Colorburst Orange' has exciting double tangerine orange flowers and a medium short, well-branched habit. The anemone type double flowers open with centres that are dark, then lime green then orange. First year plants are multistemmed with excellent vigor. Flowers are very large and stems are extra strong. Grows only a bit taller than a foot. Great for the front of the border. Echinacea in coastal BC should be planted in hot, dry, sunny spots with thin, average to poor soils for best overwintering.
Dry open woods, prairies and barrens.
