The green leaves of this unusual plant are streaked with silver lines. Its dwarf-palm-tree habit makes it a useful plant for multiple applications. Thrives in containers, dry shade and as a groundcover as clumps will gradually expand over time. Dwarf umbrella grass was a popular houseplant in the 70s so go all retro and bring it into the house in colder climates.
