From China comes this uncommon hydrangea relative with intriguing purple-blue flowers held above clumps of beautifully textured foliage. Blooms in early to mid summer. Slowly spreading rhizomes eventually form a mounded three foot wide clump. A wonderful addition to the shade garden.
