This endemic to the island of Tenerife forms small branching shrubs of succulent rosettes with fleshy, spoon-shaped leaves that are brilliantly coloured. The leaves in the centre emerge bright yellow with salmon-red to pink highlights and slowly change to green. Yellow flowers bloom in the summer. Grow in fullest sun for best colour. Bring indoors to a bright windowsill in winter for a striking houseplant.
