A decorative, twining climber with attractive leaves and flowers. The leaves are divided into five leaflets. The white flowers appear in clusters and smell like chocolate.

Asia - China and Japan

Woods, hedges, thickets in mountainous areas. Forest margins along streams, scrub on mountain slopes.
