Mukgenia 'Nova Flame'
Common Name: Mukgenia Family: Saxifragaceae (The Saxifrage Family)

Mukgenia 'Nova Flame'
Zoom In Photo:

An intriguing intergeneric hybrid between Bergenia and its relative Mukdenia. The foliage is thick and leathery with jagged edges and red-flushed undersides. The foliage reddens through summer presenting great fall colour before dropping for its winter dormancy. The flowers are bright fuchsia with star-like petals rather than the bell-shaped flowers of Bergenia.
