A fine shade plant with aromatic foliage, producing creamy-yellow plumes in midsummer over golden foliage. Loves moisture. Grown for its startling foliage which sings next to Polemonium caeruleum 'Bressingham Purple' or contrasts well with the black foliage of mondo grass (Ophiopogon planiscapus 'Nigrescens').
